Baby Wipes

Welcome to another Trash Talk Tuesday! Sorry I am posting later than usual, it has been a crazy day. I thought it could be useful to discuss alternatives to using baby wipes.

Welcome to another Trash Talk Tuesday! Sorry I am posting later than usual, it has been a crazy day. I thought it could be useful to discuss alternatives to using baby wipes. Sankoty Sustainables has created a baby wipe cube that is dissolvable in water. The solution can be stored in mason jars or other sealable containers. Each cube contains 4 quality ingredients making it incredibly gentle for babies with very sensitive skin: Castile Soap, water, coconut oil, and essential oils. We also have locally sewn, wipe-sized cotton cloths, which we sell by the dozen in a plethora of adorable patterns. No more throwing baby wipes in the trash, just put these wipes in your washing machine! When your baby outgrowns needing wipes, they can be converted into an adorable washcloth.

Mix each cube with 8 oz of HOT water and stir until dissolved. Each cube makes 8 oz of baby wipe solution and will last approximately 2-3 days depending on how often you change diapers. The wipes can be stored soaking in the solution or can be stored next to the solution container. The solution can also be stored in a small spray bottle to spray on the baby's bum instead. A spray bottle also makes for an easy travel option in the diaper bag.
