Plastic Free: Laundry

Welcome to another Trash Talk Tuesday! If you are anything like my household, laundry seems to be an endless battle. I wanted to talk about the importance of laundry soap.

Nowadays there are so many options to pick from. Some detergent can cause irritation if you have a skin sensitivity. Unfortunately, some detergent isn’t compatible with septic systems. A washing machine over time can get clogged if the incorrect detergent is used. We make a natural laundry detergent that is unscented and gentle for most skin sensitivities. It is also safe for septic systems and won't clog your washer because it is biodegradable. If you are unable to make your own soap, check our facebook page to see where we will be located next to pick up some powdered detergent .

Instead of a dryer sheet you can dampen our non-paper towel (or another cloth) with vinegar and put it in with your clothes. You don't want it dripping because too much vinegar can stain your clothes. If you prefer scented dryer sheets, just add a couple drops of essential oils to your spray bottle or jar of vinegar.
